Pilates, founded by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. Pilates yields many benefits including increased lung capacity and circulation, enhanced posture, balance, and core strength, and improved bone density and joint health. At DYF we offer a variety of Pilates Reformer, Mat, and Apparatus classes.
At DYF we strive to offer a variety of classes to meet your needs. Our group fitness classes provide a way to connect with a welcoming community and build a foundation and structure to help you reach your fitness goals. Current group fitness classes include Barre, Ballet Barre, Yoga, HIIT, Tabata, and Spin, and Strength.
Private and Semi-Private training sessions are the most effective way to focus on your individual needs and goals. At DFY, we provide training with an emphasis on functional and core strength. Functional Training involves training the body focused on the activities performed in every day life. Functional Training leads to better muscular balance and joint stability.
